About
The full story behind Melisolice

I am an interior designer, hoping to do more than just sit in front of my computer to work. I want to create, get my hands dirty, learn about crafts & art and continuously improve my techniques. Being creative makes me feel alive. I feel that the world of art has endless possibilities, and I want to tap into that. When being creative was not an option at work, I needed to find a way to keep my creativity going. That is how Melisolice was born. It is my world of endless possibilities, where my different personalities can express themselves while providing me with a lot of happiness. That is what Melisolice is all about: freedom, arts & crafts, and spreading joy.

How we work?
Through the journey that is life, I find my inspiration in the little things that surround us; stone textures on the sidewalk, the shape of a rain puddle, the details of a window frame... Anything can be the start of a new idea. I try to combine these concepts with an issue I've been having; needing a safe space to store my jewellery, a lamp I do not like at home, a missing vase for my flowers... I love giving a function to the art I make.
I first, brainstorm my ideas on paper, then move onto clay when I settle on a shape I like. After some attempts and the piece is to my taste, I'll duplicate it in plaster, and maybe mix in different colours to see the endless possibilities of aesthetics I can create.
Our Manifest
Melisolice has been created out of happiness.
Happy to be creative, to be true, to be free, to be shared, to be passionate.
It took a lot of courage to start sharing designs and to start selling. I decided to do it because even if I am terrified of this journey, it gives me great joy to share its outcome with you.
